 2003-2006 WRAP Award (Waste Reduction Awards Program)
For its efforts to reduce waste, the Santa Clara Convention Center has been recognized by the California Integrated Waste Management Board by receiving the WRAP Award.
Santa Clara's recycling program has reduced waste by nearly 90 tons this past fiscal year. The Center's program includes recycling paper, cardboard, glass, and aluminum. In addition, the Center's
full service, caterer, ARAMARK, contributes to Second Harvest Food Bank.
 2003 Planner's Choice Award
Presented by Meeting News magazine, the Planner's Choice Award is awarded for
Excellence in Meeting Services and Facilities. Professional corporate and association
meeting planners selected Santa Clara's Center for exceptional convention and hospitality service. The voting criteria included excellence in helpfulness and expertise of on-site convention center staff, design and quality of conference breakout rooms, and food service and location.
